Applications:
1.Reinforcing floor concrete
Due to light weight of geogrid nets and their resistant against corrosive agents, these nets can be installed close to the surface in continuous operation form working.
This will streng then the concrete and control cracking.
Advantages of using geogridin concrete:
- reinforcing concrete
- requiring a minimum concrete cover
- more economic than other riforcing materials such as armature
- complete protection against all corrosive agents in water that erodes armature
- fast and easy installation
2.Reinforcing soil(reinforcing sub grade)
Meshiran geogrids can solve problems that heavy structures and embankments cause on poor soils without the need for piling and excavation and embankment operations (replacing weak materials with resistant and coarse grained materials).
This action is possible by placing layers of geogrid in loose soil where they reach the failure surface.
Also embankment can be constructed in a closet full of coarse material that is made of polymer nets.
This will strengthen back fill’s infrastructure and substantially reduce a symmetricsettlement which causes a lot of damage to the foundation with the possiblity of proper drainage.
3.Fencing
